Considering the recent concerns and measures taken across the United States to combat COVID-19, we are closely watching the recommendations from local, state and federal authorities so that we can make informed decisions related to our 2020 summer camp program.
We continue to seek advice and direction from our trusted medical team and partners and have been actively involved in discussions with the Children’s Oncology Camping Association-International (COCA-I). Additionally, we are monitoring the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the State of Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).
It is, and will remain, our goal to ensure the safest environment possible for our campers, families and volunteers. We are committed to maintaining best practices to reduce risk of all communicable illness, included COVID-19.
As always, the health, safety and well-being of all of our Special Days Camps Family is our paramount concern. We will continue to monitor this quickly evolving situation and keep you updated as any decisions related to our 2020 summer camp programs are made.
